2011 Annual General Conference
The Annual General Conference was held at Mankotsho Society (Mvuzi Village) in the Mount Frere Circuit within the Eastern Transkei District.  The delegates arrived and registered on Sunday the 9th October 2011 and the Conference will be officially opened on Monday the 10th October 2011.

I would like to thank the members of the MEC’s Office who were there, the members of the Office of the Premier of the Eastern Cape Province, Councillor V.A. Bulana who was representing the Mayor of the Umzimvubu Municipality, Councillor F.N. Thank you Ward Councillor for organizing the grader that worked on the road and the water tanker that brought us water.  You were with us till we sang, danced and rejoiced saying Minwana phezulu on Saturday evening.


Allow me to tell this story of hope about South Africa, at Mvuzi (Qoqa) in Mt Frere I found a place that is Crime Free in my Country.  Political Parties normally complain about the high crime rate but in this village, we slept without locking the doors and left the cars with no fear and nothing was ever stolen.  Keep it up people of Mvuzi.


This Annual General Conference was proceeded by the Biennial Connexional Local Preachers Union which was held in the same venue.  The arrival of delegates for this Convention was Thursday the 6th October 2011 and the Connexional Convention was officially opened on Friday the 7th October 2011.
